- SCP-1180 is a coconut palm tree that looks normal but has unusual properties. Its coconuts make rattling or knocking sounds as they ripen, and people trying to open them experience strong emotional distress, feeling horror or empathy for the fruit. If a coconut is successfully opened, it appears empty inside, and new, rattling coconuts quickly grow on the tree. Disturbingly, anyone who successfully opens one of these coconuts is later found decapitated, with their head missing.

- The Line is a planned linear smart city under construction in Saudi Arabia's Tabuk Province, envisioned as a 170-kilometer-long, 500-meter-high, and 200-meter-wide mirrored building designed to house nine million people without cars, streets, or carbon emissions. Conceived by Mohammed bin Salman as part of the Saudi Vision 2030, it aims to offer all basic services within a five-minute walk and be powered entirely by renewable energy, utilizing artificial intelligence to enhance daily life. However, the project has faced significant criticism regarding its unrealistic costs, timelines, impractical shape, environmental impact, and human rights violations, including the forced displacement of thousands of people. Despite official denials of scaling back, reports indicate substantial delays, cost overruns, and even a suspension of work by late 2025, leading international media to describe it as a "likely failure".
