Lightly manually tested after successful build on my Raspberry Pi 4. So far I have not run into any compat issues and I've set up a pool w/ multiple datasets and encryption at rest.

makepkg --ignorearch would allow it to be built on unsupported architectures. However, previous comments indicated that would not even work because of e.g. configure: error: cannot guess build type; you must specify one.

Obviously it's maintainer's choice, but just as a data point zfs-dkms is also working on aarch64.
