ChillLibraryTgBot is a simple Telegram bot that helps you find books. You can search for books by typing their title, uploading a photo of the cover, or sharing a quote. The bot uses smart tools to recognize text from images and to understand quotes. It then finds matching books from Google Books. You can get download links in different formats and see book recommendations.
This bot works on Windows and requires only a few simple steps to start using.
Before you start, make sure your computer has:
- Windows 10 or later (64-bit recommended)
- Internet connection (needed to use Telegram and get search results)
- Telegram app installed on your phone or desktop
- At least 100 MB of free space for bot installation and temporary files
- A Telegram account
- Access to the internet
- The bot file from the download page
- Basic computer skills: know how to click links, download files, and open programs

- Visit the ChillLibraryTgBot Releases page.
- Look for the latest version under the "Assets" section. Files needed to run the bot should have
.exeor.zipextensions. - If the file is
.zip, click to download it. After download, right-click the file and select “Extract All” to unzip it. - If the file is
.exe, click to download it directly. - Once downloaded and extracted, find the main executable file inside the folder (usually named something like
ChillLibraryTgBot.exe). - Double-click the
.exefile to start the bot.
- Open your Telegram app.
- In the search bar, type “ChillLibraryTgBot” or follow the link provided after starting the program.
- Click “Start” or type /start in the chat with the bot.
- To search for a book, use one of the options:
- Type the book’s title.
- Send a photo of the book cover. The bot uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to read it.
- Send a quote from the book. The bot uses AI to find the closest matches.
- The bot will respond with links to download the book in various formats or give you recommendations.
- Book Search by Title: Just type the name of the book. The bot will find all matching titles using Google Books.
- Search by Cover Photo: Take a clear photo of the book’s cover and send it to the bot. The bot reads the text on the cover to find the book.
- Search by Quote: Share a part of the text from the book. The bot uses AI to understand the quote and find the right book.
- Multiple Formats: The bot offers links to download books in PDF, EPUB, or other popular formats.
- Recommendations: Based on your search, the bot suggests similar books you might like.
- Fast and Simple: The bot is designed to give quick and accurate answers without extra steps.
- Bot Does Not Respond:
Check your internet connection and Telegram app. Restart the bot by typing /start again. - Downloads Not Working:
Make sure your browser settings allow downloads. Try a different browser if needed. - Photo Search Not Accurate:
Use a clear, well-lit photo focusing on the book cover’s text. Avoid blurry or dark images. - Quote Search Not Showing Results:
Try sending a longer or more specific quote.
To keep the bot working smoothly, update it regularly:
- Visit the Releases page often.
- Download the newest files when available.
- Follow the same steps as for the first install to replace the old files.
- Keep your Telegram app up to date.
