Can't read SMS from an alphanumeric sender

Steps to reproduce

1. Make some online service to send an SMS, from a named sender (not mobile numeric line) like "Google"
2. Tap on SMS arrival notification, and select "Connect you" application to read it.

Expected behavior

I expect to see conversation thread, with new SMS message content.
This occurs when receiving SMS verification codes.

Actual behavior

I see an empty thread with the sender name as title.
If I go to main application page, I see other SMS messages that came from mobile numbers. No one from named services.

Other details

No rooted device, no custom Recovery, no custom ROM.
Magisk applied.
