Error 0xd8e06406 and 0xd9001bf7

I've been trying to use ctr-httpwn v1.2 for the past several weeks, and no matter how I access it (via homebrew .cia or soundhax), I get one of the above errors. I use homebrew launcher 1.1.1, n3DSxl version 11.1.0-34U, and am on Luma 7.0.1 with AL9H. I get one of these 2 errors regardless of whether I am at stock or 'clock' on the Luma config menu. If I choose 'clock+L2' I instead get error 0xffffffff. Here's a pic of one of the error messages. What should I do?

It would be a good idea to upgrade to hbmenu 2.0, system fw 11.6, and Luma 8.1.1 with B9S; therefore eliminating the need for ctr-httpwn and also enabling access to the most up-to-date homebrew applications.

I guess I'm just worried that updating my system fw and cfw will leave me more susceptible to banning. I use online features in games a lot, so that would devastate me, and I attribute the fact that I haven't been banned yet to having way outdated system fw. Most people who are banned have 11.2+

Bans will happen regardless of system version. If there ever is anything harmful in Ninty system updates, it will quickly be caught by the community as soon as the update is out and patches issued. Current sysversion is totally clean.
