"Paying customers" not required

Hi,
how can I make the field "Paying customers" in the bug not required?

I believe that's currently not possible by configuration.
Ideally, I'd really like the whole 'customers' functionality to be opt-in... I think this is currently the number 1 downside to this plugin, which I'd like to change. But realistically, I don't expect to find the time for something like that any time soon. A well-tested pull request for that would be very welcome though!
