Some Info about me

  • Active developer of Valgrind
  • Grew up and studied in the UK
  • Based in France

Valgrind has it's own source code repo and doesn't have an official GH mirror. I used github for the development of the two FreeBSD ports (x86/amd64 and arm64). I have also used GH as the source for the "valgrind-devel" FreeBSD port. I use GitHub issues for tracking internal problems that are less visible than the Valgrind bugzilla.

I will use any funds to cover hardware expenses. My main development machine has an AMD Xen 4 CPU, I also use an old Intel Xeon W3520. For work on ARM I have Raspberry Pi 5 and a 5b). I always need access to different hardware because there are some CPU op-code related issues in Valgrind that I can't work on easily.

On macOS I have a mac min M4 and an old MacBook pro that is too old to upgrade to macOS 14 Sonoma or later. I don't have access to anything running macOS 11 ARM or macOS 14 or later Intel.
