How to debug .cfs files in VS Code?

Hi! I'm successfully using the Lucee Debugger in Visual Studio Code to debug .cfm and .cfc files — breakpoints work as expected. However, when I open a .cfs file (CFScript-only), VS Code doesn't allow me to set breakpoints at all.

Is there a recommended way to debug .cfs files directly?
Do you have any tips or workarounds for this scenario?

Unfortunately there is not currently support for cfs files. Would accept a PR for this. I'm not sure what would be involved, it might be as easy as adding the file extension to the list of recognized files in the vscode plugin, or it might need some additional plumbing in the backend.

There's nothing special about .cfs files, they just get wrapped on parse/compilation in a cfscript tag (just as script based components are)

I added .cfs files to the vscode extension recognized extensions list, which seems to have been enough to make this work. So this should be functional as of vscode extension v2.0.12.
