2x Limits

Maybe my reading comprehension sucks but in Codex CLI it says

Try the Codex App with 2x rate limits until April 2nd. Does that mean ONLY the App has 2x limits? Or are they global no matter where you utilize Codex?

The rate limit increases were announced as part of the app launch, but they apply regardless of whether you're using the app. Enjoy!

That message was indeed making it appear it was exclusive to the Codex App. It'd be unfair to Windows/Linux users, so I figured it was global but wanted to confirm. Thanks for clarifying!
