[Feature Request] Allow ~ as home directory when opening file by name

In the "open file by name" dialog on macOS, it would be great if the editor would jump to the home directory when the user enters ~ as the first character to allow for paths like ~/Documents/...

Seconding this. Would be a huge quality of life improvement.

Not sure that makes sense since Open File By Name only searches your workspace.
