The README's four week's old, so it may be cleaned up now, but I'm willing to help if you're interested.

You're 100% correct! It's been on my mind lately as a thing to do, but I've been catching up at work after the last push to get the manuscript out. :)

If you want to take a crack at cleaning up that section, I'd be super grateful. If you don't get to it, I should be able to clean it up some time at the end of this week.

Can you clarify "cleaning up that section"? Comments? The code itself? lint messages?

I haven't browsed every subdirectory yet, so any pointers would be appreciated. :)
