[Feature Request] Refresh through terminal command

Hi, enjoying the project a ton.
In XFCE, I have a custom update indicator script that updates every 10 minutes. This works fine in KDE, but I have also made use of a command which runs itself on a package upgrade, updating the indicator to say that there are no updates available. There seem to be no visible options to do this here, is there a way to do that?

Hi, I'm also just someone enjoying this great project.
I had an icon that displays if a WIFI-enabled heater was on or off. And when I click on the item, it toggles the on/off state.
I had the issue where I did not want to poll it each few seconds to ensure a correct icon when I toggled it, so I made a few changes and made a pull request (#69 - https://github.com/phulstaert/plasma-applet-commandoutput/tree/Re-run-command-after-action)

This enables the "indicator script" to run a configurable amount of ms after an action ran.

In your situation you could do the update-action with a "onclick" action; and the indicator script would run a few ms after the update is finished instead of waiting those 10 minutes.

Is this an alternative to what you where looking for?
