Can Formation support design multi-form application?

Can Formation support design multi-form application? If Formation support that, are there some example codes? Thanks!

Hello @heiwushi. Multi-form applications can be built using Formation. Sadly, I do not think there are any examples. However, it should be easy. Formation can help you load sections of a UI from a design file. Formation simply reduces the amount of tkinter code you need to write. To load a section of a UI, use the Builder class.

# load a form
builder = Bulider(app, path="mydesign1.xml")
# Assuming there is a widget with the ID 'frame1'
frame1 = builder.frame1

# use frame1 in your code

# load another form
builder = Bulider(app, path="mydesign2.xml")
# Assuming there is a widget with the ID 'frame2'
frame2 = builder.frame2

# use frame2 in your code

To load a form like these, the root widget should not be a toplevel (a window e.g Tk and Toplevel) but a frame or other container. When you create a new form, delete the window and add a frame instead.

You can load as many forms as you need in an application. I will try and add a full multi-form example for reference when I get time.
