Driver for CentOS Streams CoreOS (SCOS) not available

Hi,

as part of my reseach I'm currently installing okd (OpenShift Upstream) on some test machines containing NVIDIA GPU's. While installing the NVIDIA GPU Operator I get an ImagePullBackOff Error as there is no Driver Image for the SCOS Base System available.

Is there a Driver Image that should be used alternatively or can this platform be supported?

Same here, without it we cannot make it work in OKD.

Hi @aelbarkani,

it seems this feature request won't be accepted anytime soon. For my setup I've rebuild the driver container my self — working around an additional bug in OKD/CentOS Streams CoreOS, see Issue okd-project/okd#2061 for details.
If you're interessted in my "works for me" solution feel free to reach out to me and I can publish my build configurations / scripts.
