Comments clarifying links to publication.

I'm going through the code with the publication and I'm having a hard time following the logic of the codebase. Would you mind adding more comments, giving an overview of the structure and particularly the correspondence with the publication?

I'd like to be able to contribute but it's all pretty opaque at the moment.

We are currently working on a new feature and after that is implemented we will be releasing a 1.0 version with much more complete documentation. Which publication are you referring to?
