post block not working?

hi, i recently installed xkit rewritten to replace new xkit as i didn't know until now that it had stopped receiving support. i also use the dashboard plus extension, only to change the bottom of posts back to how it was before tumblr's most recent update. hopefully these pictures load, but it went from this:

my issue is, in neither of these can i find the post block icon. it also wasn't there with new xkit (looking for reasons why is how i found out about xkit rewritten). i saw a post in this thread about the post block being moved to the meatball menu at the top of posts, but it isn't there either, giving me this:

i'm not sure if there's something i've missed or if maybe the latest tumblr update messed things up? let me know if there's anything else i can provide for clarity & please break down questions simply if possible, i'm not good with technology and i'm kinda slow

This will be fixed in v1.1.0 once it makes its way through Mozilla extension review to you, probably sometime next week! (I'm assuming you're a Firefox user, as other browsers have this fix already.)
